Today is the day! The Long awaited "Grand Opening"!
I must say that there are a lot of people that have helped me reach this point that have supported me with their love and understanding and physically assisted me with remodeling my shop from the disaster it was into the professional Gunsmithing Shop that it is today!
#1 has been my wife (Sylvia). Not once did she complain about all the hours I have spent studying or working in the shop or the money spent for tools, educational materials, supplies and the long long list of things I have purchased to get us to today. She has been my greatest support and without her love and support, today would just be another regular old day just like so many before. Thanks Babe, I love you!!
My kids and their boyfriends/girlfriends (now both Fiancé’s/Fiancée’s) have all been great supporting me on this journey as well. Be it showing interest in what I am doing, or the very hard work they put into the shop to get things arranged to a point in which I could actually deal with it. I really should have taken a before and after picture! I love you all and I am so very proud of each and every one of you. Thank you!!
My parents, although they are all the way out on the West Coast, their love, support and how they raised me to try new things and that no matter what, I can do it if I set my mind to it mentality and confidence has paid off in my life and without that solid foundation that they developed and encouraged in me all through the years, I do not think that I would have ever attempted to crawl outside of my shell and give Gunsmithing or anything else a shot. Mom & Dad, thank you for always being there for me and all of your love and support throughout my entire life. I love you both very much!
Who knows how things will go from here although I do have a picture and plan in mind that I have been focusing on every day for about 3 years now, but in all honesty, to me just getting to this point, I have already succeeded and everything from here on is a bonus in my life!
Thanks to God for his love and his grace, my family for their love and support and The American Gunsmithing Institute (AGI) and all of their awesome staff for giving me the tools in this business that I need to succeed in it.
Onward and upward my friends!

PS: Tonight from5 - 6PM I will be at Mad River Armory & Range for a meet and greet with their customer. Stop by to say "Hi" or bring in and drop-off you firearm for repair or a littel TLC. Hope to see you all there!
